Terminal 1 is closing from 30 June 2015

As part of the ongoing upgrades to Heathrow Airport, Terminal 1 is being closed permanently from 30 June 2015. All providers on Heathrowparking.com operate at Terminal 1 until this date.

Terminal 1 mainly processes domestic flights landing and taking off from Heathrow. A variety of options are available for car parking at Heathrow T1.

Parking Companies

Short, Mid and Long stay car parking options are available at the terminal. Meet and Greet at Heathrow is popular due to its ease and practicality compared to off-site Park and Ride (shuttle bus) car parks.

Destinations

It's not, however, only domestic flights in operation from T1. Passengers flying out of Terminal 1 are also bound for destinations such as San Francisco and Cape Town.

Parking at Terminal 1

All types of airport parking is available. If you opt for Park and Ride you will need to park your car first and then catch a shuttle bus to and from the terminal building. If you prefer not to have to take a shuttle bus then your best option is Meet and Greet. This gives you the option to drive straight to the terminal and be met there. On your return your car will be delivered back to you making a shuttle journey unnecessary.

General information

More than 25 million passengers travel through Terminal 1 each year.

You will find domestic check-in desks on the left of the concourse on the first floor. International flight desks are located in the centre and to the left of the same concourse.

Facilities at Terminal 1

If you have a little time to kill before your flight you can take advantage of a wide range of excellent shopping options. These are available both before and after security and include Boots, Burberry and Chocolate Box.

Hungry travellers can also fuel up at several restaurants and other eateries such as Caffé Italia, Pret A Manger, The Skylark and The Bridge Bar, which is a great place to unwind with a drink or two and watch the world go by while waiting for a flight.
