Parking at Terminal 2

T2 - London Heathrow Airport

Terminal 2 closed its doors to undergo a huge renovation program in November 2009 and has remained closed to the public since then.

The new and improved Terminal 2, however, is due to open in 2014 and will feature a wide range of additional services and facilities, as well as the old standards that have long been appreciated by passengers.

When the building of Terminal 2 is complete and the terminal is fully functional, it will be able to handle in the region of 30 million passengers per year. The cost of the build will be almost £1.5 billion. The new terminal will be environmentally friendly, with solar panels on the roof and very large windows to allow natural light in.
