This website is designed to be accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability.
This site has been built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS, and displays correctly in all current browsers.
Some of the measures we have taken to ensure that this website is accessible to all visitors:
- Use of alternative text for all images on the site
- Text links that are written so that they make sense when read out of context
- Documents provided in PDF as most computers already have the software to open this format or can download it free of charge
- Text has been styled using a non-fixed value in a style sheet. This means users can easily change the size using their browser settings
Colour combinations have been used in the text and background to enhance contrast, and to ensure that information is not referenced by colour alone.
To control the presentation of pages, we have used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and properly structured markup for content. If style sheets are not supported or are turned off, information on the site can still be accessed and read.
